Title Message   Burj Dubai rules. By rupy @ 10:58 PM May 13 2008 [Reply] This shot from 650+ meters high, most likely from the CCTV cam on the tower crane or construction platform. The concrete has topped out, and the steel structure on the top is currently being built. When completed, the tower is expected to be over 800m tall and would be ready for occupation by 31 December 2008. The Persian Gulf and the Palm Deira taking shape are visible in the top right section (The Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab hotel and Palm Jebel Ali would fall on the top left corner, although they cannot fit within this frame). The towers in the vicinity on Sheikh Zayed Road are around 40 to 80 storeys high (look how tiny they appear as compared to the Burj's currently over 156 storeys)!
