Movies: The Terminal (2004)

What a load of poo, this movie is stupid. Here are some points why:
* SPOILER ALERT * (Although I doubt it matters cos this movie was lame)
1) That Janitor... that *damn* janitor I have never seen a more frail attempt at being funny. His character was nothing short of annoying.
2) Tom Hanks bumbling around "oh si", "aaah unacceptable" ARGH IT WAS PAINFUL.
3) The suedo, half-assed love relationship between Catherin Zeta Jones and Tom Hanks, it never went anywhere. Yet more proof the director (Steven Spielburg) didnt know what he was doing or where he intended to take this film, it kind of climaxed and then diminished, a lame stuff-around.
4) WHERE ARE THE OTHER PEOPLE FROM THE PLANE?!!!!! He would not be the only one there, unless there are some new form of one man planes that I havent heard of.
5) The peanut jar/jazz player effort- ridiculously moronic, a poor grasp of trying to be *cute* or show honour ahhhh damnit - if I even have to go into why this was so weak you are not welcome on my site, close your browser and never come back.
This movie was pointless, dumb, unfunny and not enjoyable in any way.
Another interesting tid-bit I found after hearing that this movie was based on a true story, it indeed is. In fact more hectically so - there is a dude that has been stuck in an airport since 1988. He was exiled because of his political ideals, he cruised around europe for a while and then his passport was stolen, he tried to leave the country but they wouldnt let him (no passport) so there he remained, he is still there but he has started going mad - he doesnt want to leave the airport and calls himself "sir" this and "sir" that. Poor bugger
